VTF Extended Health Benefits

Information Session
The Vancouver Teachers’ Federation (VTF) is providing an opportunity for members to learn more about the current VTF Extended Health Benefits (EHB) Plan before participating in the upcoming vote, occurring May 6-7. To help members make an informed decision on whether to stay with the current plan or change to the Provincial plan, the VTF is hosting an online Information Session on Tuesday, April 28, 4:00 p.m., where attendees can gather details and ask questions about the two plans.

Voting Process
Voting will take place online via Simply Voting on May 6-7. The BCTF will distribute the voting link to members, to their personal email accounts, at 11:00 p.m. on May 5. Please check your inbox, junk and/or spam folder for the voting link. Voting will open at 7:00 a.m. on May 6 and close at 7:00 p.m. on May 7, 2026.

  1. Sign in to the BCTF website.
  2. Navigate to your Member Profile.
  3. Review your membership and contact information. Some information can be updated immediately by you, while other information may require you to notify the BCTF directly.

Please ensure your contact information is also updated with the VSTA office.

In solidarity,
Carmen, Carl, and John
