National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

As we approach the first Federally recognized National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Spirit Lavallee – Indigenous Education Chair has put together a list of resources we can use in our classrooms, and in our homes. We hope that you take the day to honour the lost children and the survivors of residential schools as well as their families and communities. Public commemoration of these atrocities are an important step towards reconciliation.
